The West Alabama Mental Health Center provides the following services:

The substance abuse services are available to all residents of the M-10 Catchment area who meet admission criteria established for the programs.
The outpatient program includes:
Multi-level Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)Substance Abuse Outpatient Counseling (OP)
A system of referral and linkage to needed services outside the scope of WAMHC.
The programming caters to adults, families, and children.
Participants must be identified as a high risk for substance abuse, violence, child abuse/neglect, or HIV/AIDS without treatment.
They also cater to men who have been incarcerated in state prison who are transitioning back to their community and/or who are on probation.
