It's Vision
Is a County that embraces and supports the aspirations of persons with mental health or substance abuse disorders or intellectual disabilities and participate productively in community life, including work, school, family, and other meaningful relationships. The Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services (MHSADS) provides services to mentally disabled Loudoun County residents, including mental health and substance abuse outpatient, emergency services, developmental disabilities case management, job coaching, early intervention services, residential services, and outreach in all three disability areas.
The Loudoun County Community Services Board oversees MHSADS programs and services, sets departmental policy and procedures, and determines priorities as mandated by the state of Virginia.
The cost of services is based on a sliding fee scale and no one is denied services due to inability to pay.
