A client must be determined eligible for Medicaid (e.g., meet income requirements, and provide proof of citizenship and identity) to receive Medicaid-funded SUD treatment services. A client must receive an assessment from a Medicaid-enrolled chemical dependency treatment facility licensed by the Department of State Health Services to receive treatment.
