About Permia Care

Outreach, Screening, Assessment and Referral (OSAR) Services provide assessments and referrals to those who are looking for and needing substance use services and/or support.
The OSAR team conducts a screening to determine what type of services you need.
Once that has been determined, the counselor will assist you in finding the right treatment provider or service needed.
Turning Point provides detoxification (detox) services and intensive residential treatment (rehab) to adults needing more intensive treatment for their addictions.
Clients who need detox will be provided with medications to ease the detox symptoms.
Once a person has completed their detox, they will then become a part of the IRT (Intensive Residential Treatment).
IRT is a very structured program with 24/7 supervision and support. Educational classes, group and individual counseling sessions, recreation, and 12 step meetings are some of the activities that make up the day.
The Fresh Start Program provides outpatient substance abuse treatment to adult men and women who do not need more intensive treatment.
The She's For Sure Program provides outpatient substance abuse treatment to adult women who have a history of substance abuse and have children under the age of 18 or are pregnant.
The Top Rank Youth Program provides outpatient substance abuse treatment for adolescents (ages 13 to 17) who do not require a more intensive form of treatment.
The Co-Occurring Psychiatric and Chemical Dependency (COPSD) program provides services to those who have a mental illness and addiction issues.

Services include
individual counseling, case management, referrals to outside resources.

All of these help the client stay drug/alcohol free while managing the symptoms of their mental illness.

Is this treatment center really free?

Most of the listings on this website are free; however, we decided it would also be helpful for our visitors to see sliding scale treatment centers (which are based on your income and you can qualify for free treatment) and low cost rehab centers for low income persons.

Tips on Choosing a Free Rehab Center in Midland, TX

  • Make sure the center is accredited. Accreditation means that the center has met certain standards of quality and patient care. You can find accredited rehab centers by visiting the websites of the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) or The Joint Commission (TJC).
  • Check the center's track record. How long has the center been in operation? What is its success rate? You can find this information by reading online reviews or by contacting the center directly.
  • Consider the center's treatment approach. Does the center offer a variety of treatment modalities, or does it focus on one approach? What is the center's philosophy on addiction treatment?
  • Find out what the center's aftercare program is like. Aftercare is essential to long-term recovery. Make sure the center you choose offers a comprehensive aftercare program.
  • Make sure the center is a good fit for you. Consider your individual needs and preferences when choosing a rehab center. For example, if you have a co-occurring mental health disorder, you'll need to find a center that offers dual diagnosis treatment.

Here are some additional tips:

  • Ask about the center's admission process. What documentation do you need to provide? Is there a waiting list?
  • Find out what the center's policies are on insurance and financial assistance. Will the center accept your insurance? Does the center offer financial assistance to patients who need it?
  • Visit the center in person, if possible. This will give you a chance to meet the staff, see the facilities, and get a feel for the center's atmosphere.
  • Talk to people who have been to the center. Ask them about their experiences and whether they would recommend the center to others.
Choosing a rehab center is an important decision. By following these tips, you can find a free rehab center in Midland, TX that is right for you.

Federal Poverty Guidelines for 2024

Persons In Family Household Poverty Guideline Salary per year
1 $15,060
2 $20,440
3 $25,820
4 $31,200
5 $36,580
6 $41,960
7 $47,340
8 $52,720

*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free treatment from some substance abuse centers, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
