About Nebraska Urban Indian Health Coalition and Intertribal Treatment
Inpatient services:
Intertribal Treatment Center is for substance abuse. The program delivers culturally-relevant in-patient, co-ed substance abuse treatment for Native Americans in South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, and Iowa. A holistic approach that addresses the unique needs of people during recovery is utilized.
Outpatient services:
The outpatient component of NUIHC is the Behavioral Health Program, which is licensed by the State of Nebraska. It provides substance abuse disorder-related services to a target population that includes Native Americans and others residing in the Metro area that includes Dodge, Cass, Sarpy, Washington, and Douglas counties.
Transitional living:
Transitional living space for men and woman who have successfully completed residential treatment through the Intertribal Treatment Center. Residents work one-on-one with their counselor to develop person-centered treatment plans to aid them in reaching their vocational and educational goals. We are dedicate to helping Native Americans become productive community members.
Jackson recovery center:
Partner with Jackson Recovery Center in Sioux City, Iowa to provide alcohol and drug assessments for those in need.
