Admission is available to any adult in our region regardless of financial resources or insurance status. Patients pay on a sliding scale according to their income.
Services
Medically monitored detoxification. Psychiatric services. Medical and nursing services: Substance abuse and co-occurring treatment, recreational therapy, family services, discharge planning.
North Carolina is divided into three geographic regions (East, Central, and West). Julian F. Keith Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Center is located in Western North Carolina and serves residents of the 37 westernmost counties.
Referrals for treatment to Julian F. Keith Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Center are made primarily through Local Management Entities/Managed Care Organizations (LMEs/MCOs) or the community provider.
If you or your family member wishes to be admitted to Julian F. Keith ADATC, you may contact your treatment provider and request a referral to ADATC

My son is currently in prison in Johnston County. He has been addicted to heroin and opioids for several years. He is in prison for helping his girlfriend Overdose while she was already in the hospital. She died a couple months later due to a drug overdose. He is ready for rehabilitation.
