Admission is available to any adult in our region regardless of financial resources or insurance status. Patients pay on a sliding scale according to their income.
Services
Medically monitored detoxification. Psychiatric services. Medical and nursing services: Substance abuse and co-occurring treatment, recreational therapy, family services, discharge planning.
North Carolina is divided into three geographic regions (East, Central, and West). Julian F. Keith Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Center is located in Western North Carolina and serves residents of the 37 westernmost counties.
Referrals for treatment to Julian F. Keith Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Center are made primarily through Local Management Entities/Managed Care Organizations (LMEs/MCOs) or the community provider.
