Eligibility Guidelines
Women must live on-site Women must have children or be in the process of being reunited with them Must be actively looking for a job, working or attending school Must attend weekly Salvation Army church services, Sunday school and Bible study Regularly attend AA or NA meetings Participate in parenting classes Participate in parenting classes
Women who live at Gabelcrest get their own two bedroom, two bathroom town-home
By the end of this year-long program, the goal is for each resident to have full-time employment or to continue pursuing educational opportunities.
Upon completion the Gabelcrest women are expected to be able to function productively and give back to the community from which they have received help.
