Tips on Choosing a Free Rehab Center in Fort Worth, TX

  • Make sure the center is accredited. Accreditation means that the center has met certain standards of quality and patient care. You can find accredited rehab centers by visiting the websites of the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) or The Joint Commission (TJC).
  • Check the center's track record. How long has the center been in operation? What is its success rate? You can find this information by reading online reviews or by contacting the center directly.
  • Consider the center's treatment approach. Does the center offer a variety of treatment modalities, or does it focus on one approach? What is the center's philosophy on addiction treatment?
  • Find out what the center's aftercare program is like. Aftercare is essential to long-term recovery. Make sure the center you choose offers a comprehensive aftercare program.
  • Make sure the center is a good fit for you. Consider your individual needs and preferences when choosing a rehab center. For example, if you have a co-occurring mental health disorder, you'll need to find a center that offers dual diagnosis treatment.

Here are some additional tips:

  • Ask about the center's admission process. What documentation do you need to provide? Is there a waiting list?
  • Find out what the center's policies are on insurance and financial assistance. Will the center accept your insurance? Does the center offer financial assistance to patients who need it?
  • Visit the center in person, if possible. This will give you a chance to meet the staff, see the facilities, and get a feel for the center's atmosphere.
  • Talk to people who have been to the center. Ask them about their experiences and whether they would recommend the center to others.
Choosing a rehab center is an important decision. By following these tips, you can find a free rehab center in Fort Worth, TX that is right for you.

Free Rehab Centers in Nearby Cities

Since many of our rehab centers are sliding scale, we have provided the Federal Poverty Guidelines below. Visit the Fort Worth Addiction Treatment website listed above to see what the level is needed for free care based on your income from the sliding fee scale.

Federal Poverty Guidelines for 2024

Persons In Family Household Poverty Guideline Salary per year
1 $15,060
2 $20,440
3 $25,820
4 $31,200
5 $36,580
6 $41,960
7 $47,340
8 $52,720

*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free treatment from some substance abuse centers, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.

Hi, my name is Theodore Martinez I've been battling opiate addiction for some years now, I stop and I fail, stop and fail. I've tried everything that you can imagine, from self medicating, and leaving the country for some time but I end up relapsing there too, I've tried hypnosis, witch doctors to no avail. I can't hold a job because of it, I feel ashamed towards my family, one time I tried to commit sucide to end the misery, I cryed as I cut my wrists and kept cutting ,but I had to look at my wrists because I wasn't feeling blood or seeing come out, what I witnessed was the wounds would close as I was cutting right behind the razor and heal as I cut , no scares.there is no words to describe it other than I felt this incredible welcoming loving energy fill the bathroom. I knew it was my God. And I stopped trying to cut. And I told him never ever again I will try to take my own life and to forgive me .no matter how bad it gets that was my oath. Now I have no job, no money. But I need help serious help this vice is keeping me from succeeding in life. Plz plz help me. I have no criminal background what's over.plz help me to take control of my life so I can help my mother as I should be doing. tmartinez111@aol.com
