Tips on Choosing a Free Rehab Center in Burns, TN

  • Make sure the center is accredited. Accreditation means that the center has met certain standards of quality and patient care. You can find accredited rehab centers by visiting the websites of the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) or The Joint Commission (TJC).
  • Check the center's track record. How long has the center been in operation? What is its success rate? You can find this information by reading online reviews or by contacting the center directly.
  • Consider the center's treatment approach. Does the center offer a variety of treatment modalities, or does it focus on one approach? What is the center's philosophy on addiction treatment?
  • Find out what the center's aftercare program is like. Aftercare is essential to long-term recovery. Make sure the center you choose offers a comprehensive aftercare program.
  • Make sure the center is a good fit for you. Consider your individual needs and preferences when choosing a rehab center. For example, if you have a co-occurring mental health disorder, you'll need to find a center that offers dual diagnosis treatment.

Here are some additional tips:

  • Ask about the center's admission process. What documentation do you need to provide? Is there a waiting list?
  • Find out what the center's policies are on insurance and financial assistance. Will the center accept your insurance? Does the center offer financial assistance to patients who need it?
  • Visit the center in person, if possible. This will give you a chance to meet the staff, see the facilities, and get a feel for the center's atmosphere.
  • Talk to people who have been to the center. Ask them about their experiences and whether they would recommend the center to others.
Choosing a rehab center is an important decision. By following these tips, you can find a free rehab center in Burns, TN that is right for you.

Free Rehab Centers in Nearby Cities

Since many of our rehab centers are sliding scale, we have provided the Federal Poverty Guidelines below. Visit the Discovery Place Alternative Drug and Alcohol Rehab website listed above to see what the level is needed for free care based on your income from the sliding fee scale.

Federal Poverty Guidelines for 2024

Persons In Family Household Poverty Guideline Salary per year
1 $15,060
2 $20,440
3 $25,820
4 $31,200
5 $36,580
6 $41,960
7 $47,340
8 $52,720

*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free treatment from some substance abuse centers, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.

Due to the COVID pandemic, I lost my job. I turned to alcohol to cope. It was stupid and I can tell it's poisoned my body. I've already quit, but it's only been a week. An inpatient stay, even a short one, would help me tremendously.

2020-12-25 17:47:44

I lost my job, my girlfriend of 3 yrs I'm about to rock bottom. I used to say how people that stupid to loose everything. Now I find myself same predicament. I can't live like this no more need help. Lost job so of course I have no money. I want my life back so bad, nothing means more to me. Where do I go from here. I try cold turkey. But 4 days in no sleep all else that goes with withdrawal I find myself taking money from my girlfriend. And buying heroin. Can't beat the withdrawal on my on need to detox.

I have really been through the wringer over the last few years with alcohol and without. I faced 2 temporary layoffs without pay due to COVID 19 in 2020, so I chose to celebrate new employment and learning new job skills New Years Eve, only to face DUI number 2 charges against me. I never thought I was a problem drinker, but apparently alcohol loves to cause me problems. I haven't officially lost my new job yet, but I have reported to my employer already without a response. I really need your help. I have already made preliminary contact with legal counsel, but I need the help of a treatment program, and I currently have little to no money.

2021-05-19 08:27:25

I’m wanting to see what the sliding scale is financially thanks

2022-02-07 21:26:43

I'm looking for help with alcohol, looking for a safe environment and a fresh start I just can't seem to be able to do it on my own.
