About San Diego Rescue Mission Men's Center

The Psychotherapy Center provides free, quality counseling to individuals, families, children and couples who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or unable to afford therapy. Treatment is provided by licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, or by interns and trainees under their supervision. Through the outpatient clinic they provide another service to meet the needs of the whole individual, giving him or her the best chance at living as a healthy, contributing member of their community. This is a free substance abuse program.

When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. Sliding Scale Treatment Fees that are variable based on the clients ability to pay. Fees are reduced for lower income persons or have less money due to high expenses.

Non-Profit Treatment Many non profit treatment programs are free or are lower cost due to the non profit organizations status.

Faith-Based Treatment Many religious organizations offer drug and alcohol recovery treatment at no cost as part of their ministry services. Many also offer payment assistance for those that qualify.
