Project Pride Residential Treatment ProgramHours:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PMEmphasizes recovery, mental and physical health with a strong focus on family and child issues.
Provides comprehensive treatment to mothers and their children in a safe, respectful, residential environment that is sensitive to the cultural and ethnic diversity of their clients and staff.
WOMEN'S SERVICES include individual and group counseling, training to improve socialization and communication skills, leadership skills, and vocational skills.
Specialized groups include addiction education and relapse prevention, anger management, parent training, life skills training, family therapy,
HIV/AIDS education, smoking cessation and narcotics anonymous.
Services may also include treatment for post traumatic stress disorders that can result from abuse and violence.
After care continued case management provided according to each mother's and child's needs.
Graduates are encouraged to return and share their success stories with current participants.
CHILDREN'S SERVICES include professional child care, education, daily exercise, stimulation, and age appropriate activities.
Children also participate in mother/child interactive outings, play therapy, music/art therapy, and drama therapy.
Child enrichment counselors perform ongoing developmental assessments and complete referrals for medical monitoring as needed.
Target GroupIndividuals with co-occuring disorders, specifically mental illness and substance abuse, HIV and those involved in the criminal justice system.

Many of their clients receive care completely free of charge because of grants they are able to secure from Federal, State and County agencies.
They are Medi-Cal and Medi-Care certified and can bill out for services that way too.
