About Counseling Resources

The Counseling Resources Outpatient Substance Abuse Programs are designed for adults, ages 18 years and older, seeking a program to obtain education and explore alcohol or chemical use patterns.  These programs are of variable length, typically 24-36 hours and are recommended for those who are not considered to be dependent on a chemical (alcohol or other drug).  This is determined by a substance use evaluation conducted by a substance abuse counselor, either at Counseling Resources or another facility.

These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free treatment from some substance abuse centers, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.

Non-Profit Treatment Many non profit treatment programs are free or are lower cost due to the non profit organizations status.
