About City Team Chester Residential Addiction Programs
City Teams Renew Program is a Christian faith-based long-term residential community that helps men with a history of drug and alcohol problems and/or homelessness.
This program focuses on three main areas: spiritual direction, job-readiness, and whole-body wellness.
Each man will engage in workshops and step work from the 12-step tradition to help him develop his character, prepare him to return to work, and live a healthier, sober and clean lifestyle.
Residents are a part of a small group where they support each other through the program and each resident is assigned a case manager to address his immediate needs and work towards long-term solutions.
The kitchen serves as a workshop for preparing men to return to the workforce as well as serving those in our community in desperate need.
Their Learning Center helps residents engage in classes on job-readiness as well as GED preparation.
They have an on-site nursing clinic where both insured and uninsured residents can receive medical care.
Residents engage in Bible Study, 12-step meetings, and Church on Sundays.
With community partners, they assist in the areas of housing, mental health needs, spiritual guidance, employment, acquiring a state ID or renewed drivers license, and other case management needs.
Is this treatment center really free?
Most of the listings on this website are free; however, we decided it would also be helpful for our visitors to see sliding scale treatment centers (which are based on your income and you can qualify for free treatment) and low cost rehab centers for low income persons.
