The Alternative Program helps people begin the road to recovery and learn to lead productive lives without drugs and alcohol.
To enhance the transition into employment, we provide GED classes, a tutorial computer lab, and specialized job placement assistance.
Offers
Intake Services: identify individual needs and determine treatment options. Intensive Outpatient Services: short-term of counseling and drug/alcohol abuse education. Group Support Services: long-term group counseling toward problem resolution. Individual Support Services: long-term individual support and encouragement toward problem resolution and attainment of a support network.
Women's Services:
special focus on health and reproductive issues, rape prevention, family violence, parenting and achieving financial and emotional independence.
HIV Services:
HIV risk assessment education, pre-counseling on risk behaviors, HIV, TB and STD testing, and post-counseling on test results.
Job Placement Assistance:
Job Developers assist clients with finding appropriate employment.
