About Roque Center

The Roque Center provides residential social model non-medical detoxification services for adult men and women. We offer flexible detox programs with same day admission. Services are provided in a clean, supportive, and calm environment and monitored by experienced licensed staff. Our staff is knowledgeable and trained in the recognition of and implications of symptoms arising from alcohol and drug withdrawal. Twenty-four hour assistance and monitoring is provided. Our detox program emphasizes bed rest, meeting the nutritional needs of our clients, one-to-one counseling, structured group activities, and group discussion. Our pricing is the most affordable in Orange County. We accept most PPO insurance, offer payment plans, and low-interest financing through American Healthcare Lending. If a client is unable to pay, we also offer partly funded beds through the County of Orange Health Care Agency Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services. We work with our clients budget and never turn anyone away for their inability to pay. Our 12-step based approach to recovery focuses on affecting positive change in the clients lifestyle and behavior through education, group process, one-to-one counseling, exposure to alternative coping skills, and positive role models. With the realization that recovery is a process and not an event, our social model peer-oriented and home-like recovery program is designed to assist men and women in developing a foundation for long term recovery.

Is this treatment center really free?

Most of the listings on this website are free; however, we decided it would also be helpful for our visitors to see sliding scale treatment centers (which are based on your income and you can qualify for free treatment) and low cost rehab centers for low income persons.

Tips on Choosing a Free Rehab Center in Stanton, CA

  • Make sure the center is accredited. Accreditation means that the center has met certain standards of quality and patient care. You can find accredited rehab centers by visiting the websites of the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) or The Joint Commission (TJC).
  • Check the center's track record. How long has the center been in operation? What is its success rate? You can find this information by reading online reviews or by contacting the center directly.
  • Consider the center's treatment approach. Does the center offer a variety of treatment modalities, or does it focus on one approach? What is the center's philosophy on addiction treatment?
  • Find out what the center's aftercare program is like. Aftercare is essential to long-term recovery. Make sure the center you choose offers a comprehensive aftercare program.
  • Make sure the center is a good fit for you. Consider your individual needs and preferences when choosing a rehab center. For example, if you have a co-occurring mental health disorder, you'll need to find a center that offers dual diagnosis treatment.

Here are some additional tips:

  • Ask about the center's admission process. What documentation do you need to provide? Is there a waiting list?
  • Find out what the center's policies are on insurance and financial assistance. Will the center accept your insurance? Does the center offer financial assistance to patients who need it?
  • Visit the center in person, if possible. This will give you a chance to meet the staff, see the facilities, and get a feel for the center's atmosphere.
  • Talk to people who have been to the center. Ask them about their experiences and whether they would recommend the center to others.
Choosing a rehab center is an important decision. By following these tips, you can find a free rehab center in Stanton, CA that is right for you.

Free Rehab Centers in Nearby Cities

Since many of our rehab centers are sliding scale, we have provided the Federal Poverty Guidelines below. Visit the Roque Center website listed above to see what the level is needed for free care based on your income from the sliding fee scale.

Federal Poverty Guidelines for 2024

Persons In Family Household Poverty Guideline Salary per year
1 $15,060
2 $20,440
3 $25,820
4 $31,200
5 $36,580
6 $41,960
7 $47,340
8 $52,720

*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free treatment from some substance abuse centers, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.

I am reaching out in regards to Drug Abuse Detox, Rehabilitation and if possible some sort of sober living/job program afterwards. My fiancée and I just had our daughter and upon her delivery my fiancée Dakota tested positive for Amphetamines. After some tests and being open and honest we had CPS come into the situation and we have willingly agreed to go into treatment and get ourselves right in order to comply with court orders and to continue seeing our child through supervised visitations. But our problem is addiction, and nothing will get better until that gets better. I do know that if need be, Orange County will provide some resources for us in our search for addiction treatment. However I think I’m more than capable of finding the same level of car if not better. That’s why I’m reaching out.

My son and I are seeking help for his drug and alcohol addicition. Currently he is shooting meth but he has done many drugs and alcohol in the rencent past and can't seem to kick the habit. I went through your program in the 90's and your program literally saved my life and enabled me to have a wonderful relationship with my kids. I know it will work for him. He is 27 currently homeless and unemployed. We live in Arizona but the programs here are full and we have been trying for month.
