Regardless of ability to pay, Texas residents who are seeking substance abuse services and information may qualify for services based on need.
They receive funding from the Texas Department of State Health Services.
This means that they are able to offer outpatient treatment services on a sliding scale based on a clients income.
No one is turned away for inability to pay.

Two Day a Week Specialized Female Outpatient Treatment:
ACADAs specialized females two-day a week outpatient meets on Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. The two-day a week program is appropriate for women with children in foster care, women with children under age 18, and women involved with the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services. This program is for those who have a substance abuse disorder but whose prognosis is such that a more intensive, restrictive, or structured environment is not required. The two-day a week program is targeted at the adult female with children or adult pregnant female population who meets the DSM IV criteria for substance abuse or dependence.
Two day a week treatment consists of:
Spiritual Aspects of Recovery, HIV/AIDS, Disease Concept and Process of Addiction, Total Behavior and Neo Linguistic Program Techniques as Coping Tools, Medical Aspects of Alcohol and Drug Abuse, Cognitive Aspects of Recovery (Self Esteem), Role of the Brain in Addiction, Stress and Anger Management, Basic Needs and Personal Responsibility, Self Esteem and Assertive Communication, Recovery, Relapse, Stages of Change, Parenting and Life Skills, Relationships and Abuse. This service is based on the ability to pay.
