Akeela has broadened its approach to and service provision of substance use treatment from its early days. What had begun as a sole focused Therapeutic Community residential program has retained that program as its flagship treatment service, but has expanded significantly. Now offered is a specialized residential program for women who have their children living with them in treatment, an array of outpatient patient services that include general outpatient, Intensive outpatient, and programs specifically for women.Their Ketchikan programs have the same service array except it only has one program designed specifically for women, a program serving pregnant substance using women.

My daughter, Kristine Bose, has been struggling with alcohol addiction for well over 10 years. She is finally pleading for and agreeing that she needs and wants long term care. She has applied to your facility but was advised that it would be late January before anything could be looked at. As a very concerned parent I don't want to see her miss out on a chance to correct her life. Now that she has finally admitted she wants help I hate for her not to get it. If there is anything that can be done to expedite her application I would greatly appreciate it.
