Hi, I am concerned about a friend who is attempting to detox from alcoholism (been binging for months) on her own. She has health issues (overweight mostly) and knee pain, etc., but wonder with very low income (she lost her job but is suppose to start a teaching position at a christian school in the fall, whether she may qualify for some help. She has been clean for nearly 5 years (I believe) before she fell off the wagon. She has no DL, is single and in her 50's. I think she is in danger of ill health without some doctoring. Thanks in advance for any help....
